Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation Program Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and evaluate the Sanitation Program to ensure compliance with all quality assurance and food safety requirements.
  • Team Management: Manage and oversee a team of sanitation employees to ensure effective cleaning and sanitation of equipment, surfaces, utensils, and production and non-production environments.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all quality assurance and food safety requirements, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Training and Development: Develop and execute training programs to ensure employees are aware of and comply with all company and regulatory requirements.
  • Chemical Management: Oversee the use of chemicals within the facility and ensure employees are properly trained on their use.
  • Safety and Health: Ensure a safe working environment by providing ongoing safety training and ensuring employees have and use safe tools and equipment.
Requirements
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5 years of experience in management in manufacturing (with various food regulatory standards)
  • Familiarity with clean in place (CIP), clean out of place (COP), temperature, timing, and chemical concentration
