We are seeking a highly skilled EH&S Manager to lead our team in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. As a key member of our EH&S department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective health and safety programs, procedures, and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement EH&S programs, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead and manage a team of EH&S professionals to ensure effective implementation of health and safety programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate hazards and risks in the workplace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of EH&S initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of and understand EH&S policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. environmental science, safety, health, or a related field) and 7 years of experience in EH&S or a related field.
- Master's degree in a related field and 4 years of experience in EH&S or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and use specialized software applications.
- EMT certification is a plus.
