We are in search of a Salesforce Solutions Architect to become a vital part of our expanding Salesforce team. The ideal candidate should be a proactive individual with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a talent for cross-functional collaboration in a nationally distributed remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing coaching, training, and mentorship to a team of engineers, focusing on constructive feedback and professional growth while resolving issues and offering technical direction.
  • Designing comprehensive Salesforce solutions that take into account functional and non-functional requirements, data integrity, integration necessities, and user experience.
  • Supervising the deployment of Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural designs and business needs, while establishing effective maintenance strategies for application architecture.
  • Leading analyses of options, proof-of-concept implementations, and validations for proposed solutions.
  • Assisting in the formulation of a technical roadmap for the program.
  • Identifying potential risks, managing changes, and designing efficient, scalable cloud solutions.
  • Gathering technical requirements and comprehending user stories to relay dependencies to the technical delivery team.
  • Facilitating solution meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding business vision, architectural concerns, product standards, and documentation efforts.
  • Keeping abreast of Salesforce trends, releases, new features, and product roadmaps.
  • Establishing and enforcing Salesforce best practices and coding standards that enhance code reusability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Implementing comprehensive unit and integration testing to ensure system functionality.
  • Encouraging cross-team collaboration and sharing knowledge through sessions and communities of practice.
  • Advocating for an automation-first approach to minimize manual configurations within the Salesforce platform using custom Apex scripts and Robotic Process Automation.
  • Supporting recruitment efforts for the program, including conducting resume evaluations, technical interviews, and assessments of culture and values.
  • Writing code as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT architecture, design, and development.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in architecting complex Salesforce solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
  • Experience in managing a team of technical professionals.
  • Strong development experience in creating custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, including Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, and SOQL.
  • Familiarity with Copado CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming design patterns and Salesforce data modeling best practices.
  • Experience working within Agile and SAFe teams.
  • Understanding of critical concepts in Security, DevSecOps, and Agile principles.
  • Experience in developing reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and business stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in multi-team development environments.
  • Knowledge of modular development practices and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
  • Experience with Copado Robotic Process Automation is a plus.
  • Experience in multi-cloud architectures and AWS cloud development is a plus.
  • Experience in civic technology and government contracting is a plus.
  • An active Trailblazer account is required.
  • Experience in personnel management is required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Salesforce Certified Application Architect credentials.
  • Copado Fundamentals I and Copado Fundamentals II certifications.

Work Environment:

eSimplicity supports a remote work environment, primarily operating within the Eastern time zone to effectively engage with our government clients. Expected working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by management. Occasional travel for training and project meetings may be required, estimated to be less than 5% per year.
