Job Summary

This position involves assembling transformers, including Pole, Pad, and 3Phase models, while upholding the values and goals of ERMCO Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and execute detailed written and verbal instructions for transformer installation.
  • Ensure safe and proper operation of tools and equipment during installation.
  • Lift and move materials weighing 50+ pounds, with or without assistance.
  • Verify conformity of internal and final transformer assemblies to ERMCO standards.
  • Adhere to all ERMCO safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Communicate effectively, following oral and written instructions.
  • Utilize an iPad or electronic communication device.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Apply organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Perform mathematical calculations in various units of measure.
  • Demonstrate proper lifting techniques.
  • Operate hand and power tools, including cordless drills and air ratchets.
  • Use measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers.
  • Operate overhead hoists and lift assist equipment.
  • Meet physical demands, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects.
  • Meet visual requirements, including 20/40 vision and normal peripheral vision.
Working Conditions

Frequent standing and walking are required, with occasional sitting, stooping, reaching, or kneeling.
