We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Safety and Comfort: Ensure patient safety by pre-screening for contraindications, using aseptic injection technique, and following radiation safety regulations.
- Diagnostic Imaging: Produce high-quality diagnostic images using CT scanners and other equipment.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments.
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain CT scanners and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Education: High School Diploma or Associate's Degree in a related field.
- Certification: Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required. State license as required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in PET imaging or Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies preferred.
