Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our entertainment center team at Mel's Lone Star Lanes. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the center, including entertainment, food and beverage sales, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Center Revenue Generation: Develop and implement financial operational plans and budgets to achieve revenue goals, including driving food and beverage sales.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the day-to-day operations of the center, scheduling, planning, organizing, and communicating effectively with the team.
- Team Development: Supervise and direct regular training for all staff members, ensuring their proficiency in guest service, food and beverage operations, and company operating standards.
- Performance Review: Manage multiple departments efficiently and conduct regular meetings with the management team to review performance and offer direction.
- Guest Experience: Achieve and maintain overall guest service goals, ensuring customer complaints are resolved appropriately and guests are completely satisfied.
- Food and Beverage Sales: Oversee the management and expansion of the center's Food and Beverage program, ensuring the highest quality standards and exceptional guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of management experience in full-service kitchen, bar, restaurant, and food service operations.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Basic business math, accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
- Strong team player with exceptional people development skills.
- Customer service pro with knowledge of POS register systems.
- Solid communication skills.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Typical entertainment center environment with walking, bending, and standing for periods of time, and occasional lifting with assistance.
