Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a RN Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to patients recovering from surgery.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and care for patients immediately following surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient progress.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a positive recovery experience.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current state RN licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
