Department Overview

Our specialized department provides diagnostic testing services for pediatric patients, focusing on respiratory control, sleep staging, and esophageal pH recordings. We are nationally accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and have a dedicated team of professionals working together to provide exceptional care.

Position Summary

This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including diagnostic testing, patient care, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic testing, including polysomnograms, CPAP/BiLevel titrations, and impedance pH testing
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide patient education
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Qualifications:
  • Current BLS certification required
  • RPSGT certification obtained within 2 years of employment
  • Graduate of an accredited sleep technology school or technical college in an allied health field
  • Pediatric experience preferred
