Job Summary:

At Johns Hopkins Medicine, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) II to join our team. As a key member of our sleep medicine department, you will be responsible for providing quality care to patients undergoing sleep studies, using a wide range of techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and complex sleep studies using various techniques and equipment.
  • Provide quality care to patients of all ages, from neonate to adolescent.
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure patient outcomes meet the high standards of care provided by JHACH.
  • Maintain all skills and knowledge necessary to provide safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate sleep medicine care.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion, or equivalent achievement.
  • Current Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) credential by the Board for Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT).
  • 2 years of experience in sleep technology.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within one month of hire.
