Clinical Research Coordinator

Position Overview:
This role involves overseeing clinical studies and ensuring compliance with established protocols. The Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Collecting and analyzing records for potential study participants, while maintaining accurate documentation of study procedures and participant progress.
- Evaluating the eligibility of recruited subjects, scheduling necessary appointments, and conducting interviews.
- Providing clear instructions to participants and their families, as well as to nursing and ancillary staff regarding study protocols, treatments, and potential side effects.
- Conducting nursing assessments and monitoring participant progress throughout the study, promptly reporting any adverse events to the Principal Investigator or Clinical Research Manager.
- Facilitating initial interviews during participant visits and implementing appropriate procedures as per the study protocol.
- Troubleshooting basic equipment issues and coordinating research activities effectively.
- Completing case report forms for each participant and ensuring accurate documentation in study files.
- Offering training and support to new and existing staff involved in research activities, and participating in team meetings and educational sessions.
- Managing inventory of research supplies and maintaining the research environment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A valid healthcare license, such as RN, LPN, or radiological technologist (preferred).
- At least one year of professional healthcare experience in a clinical research environment (preferred).
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines related to hazardous biological and chemical materials.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $35 - $40/hr, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
