At Charlie Staples Pitt Boss BBQ, we are seeking a skilled Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Management: Manage the business aspects of the bar, including negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory, and reordering supplies. Set budgets and goals to drive business growth.
- Staff Management: Assist with hiring and training staff to provide excellent service to patrons. Create effective schedules and resolve conflicts to ensure the bar is well-staffed during peak hours.
- Quality and Safety: Set and enforce quality and safety controls to maintain a clean and safe environment for patrons. Ensure licenses are updated and in line with current legislation.
- Customer Service: Maintain a fun and safe atmosphere for patrons. Diffuse tense situations between patrons or staff members to prevent possible safety or legal issues.
- Education: High school diploma. Restaurant or management experience or more education is generally preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles. Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work Environment: Ability to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Willingness to delegate responsibilities and maximize resources.
