Key Responsibilities:
- Shift Operations: Supervise and manage shift operations, including assistant managers, to ensure seamless execution of our service standards.
- Cash Handling: Strictly follow company cash handling procedures to maintain accuracy and integrity.
- Marketing and Promotions: Develop and implement effective marketing and promotions strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
- Restaurant Budget: Manage the overall restaurant budget, including forecasting, planning, and controlling expenses.
- COGS Management: Understand and manage all costs of goods sold (COGS) to optimize profitability.
- Payroll Processing: Process payroll bi-weekly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Guest Feedback: Promptly and professionally handle all guest comments and concerns, ensuring a positive experience.
- Team Communication: Communicate all team member issues and complaints to the management team through daily communication.
- Manager Development: Coach and develop managers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- New Team Member Onboarding: Assign all training materials and trainers to new team members, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Departmental Responsibilities: Oversee departmental responsibilities, including inventory management, supply chain, and maintenance.
- Staffing: Interview and hire new team members, conduct new team member orientations, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to and understand all safety and sanitation procedures set forth by The Greene Turtle.
- Decision Making: Make appropriate decisions in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing guest satisfaction and company goals.
Requirements:
- Restaurant Experience: Minimum of three years working in a restaurant environment.
- General Manager Experience: Minimum of one year as a general manager preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, guests, and vendors.
- Physical Demands: Spend 100% of shift standing or walking, with the ability to lift 35-70 pounds.
