Job Title: Personal Care Assistant - Home Health Care Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Right at Home of Northeast, MS. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide non-medical care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and shaving.
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients.
  • Perform patient-specific activities, such as assisting with ostomy appliances, reinforcement of dressings, and range of motion exercises.
  • Perform homemaking activities, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, and doing laundry.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Pass a written competency evaluation with 80% or higher.
  • Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
  • Successful completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.
