Position Overview
We invite applications for part-time faculty positions in the following business-related courses. Candidates with prior teaching experience and relevant expertise in their subject area are preferred. Areas of instruction may encompass accounting, business management, finance, marketing, operations, information systems, statistics, human resource management, business law, and related disciplines. A Master's degree in the relevant field is required, with a PhD being preferred.
Course Offerings
1. **BSAD 145A - Fundamentals of Information Systems** (3 Credits)
This course provides an introduction to systems concepts, information technology, and application software. Students will learn how information technology enhances the quality and timeliness of information within organizations. Practical exercises will help students develop skills in using packaged software to solve organizational problems.
2. **BSAD 145D - Fundamentals of Information Systems** (3 Credits)
This course mirrors the content of BSAD 145A, focusing on the foundational aspects of information systems and their application in business settings.
3. **BSAD 317A - International Marketing** (3 Credits)
In this course, students will analyze the various forces impacting the international marketing landscape, including cultural, political, legal, and economic factors. The curriculum covers firm strategy, market entry scenarios, product adaptation, pricing challenges, logistics, and global branding. Prerequisite: junior status.
