We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at the University of Minnesota Physicians.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to contribute to the academic growth and development of our division. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services to critically ill and injured pediatric patients. Your expertise will help shape the future of emergency medicine education and research at our institution.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat complex medical emergencies in infants, children, teens, and young adults.
- Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and provide counseling on treatment plans and care.
- Recommend diagnostic testing based on medical history and physical examination results.
- Promote quality improvement initiatives and participate in research projects that enhance patient outcomes.
- Instruct residents, nurses, and advanced practitioners on emergency procedures and protocols.
We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
