Job Opportunity

Davies Risk Services is seeking independent contractors to perform insurance property inspections in the Garden Valley, CA area. As an independent contractor, you will work with our insurance carrier clients to evaluate the condition of properties and provide detailed reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule appointments with property owners to conduct inspections
  • Photograph and evaluate the overall condition of properties, including buildings and premises
  • Communicate effectively with clients and insurance companies via phone, email, and in-person discussions
  • Identify potential areas of risk and complete a brief report of your observations
  • Upload photos and reports to our field service platform
  • Follow carrier instructions and maintain quality standards
  • Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
  • Travel locally to perform field inspections
Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation, Microsoft computer, smartphone, and home internet
  • Observant and curious nature
  • Ability to take pictures and accurately measure square footage
  • Strong time management and verbal/written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, including typing, uploading, and downloading documents
  • Background in construction, firefighting & safety, real estate, or previous military service is beneficial
  • Must live in the advertised geographic area
