Key Responsibilities- Customer Support: Provide general account support and customer service to clients, resolving day-to-day inquiries and escalating issues related to eligibility and member claims.
- Knowledge Development: Develop and leverage knowledge of customer needs and issues to deliver world-class service to our clients.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate customer files and records for general reference and office use.
- Process Management: Assist the account management team in managing the end-to-end process for customer interactions and carrier relationships for day-to-day customer issue resolution.
- Communication: Keep management informed of customer or carrier issues.
- Meetings and Events: Participate in weekly client meetings and support the annual Open Enrollment process.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in the health insurance or employee benefits industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as sales negotiation skills. Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work with and meet deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen and problem-solve with minimal assistance.
