Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Recreation Equipment Installer to join our team at Commercial Recreation Specialists. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation of recreational equipment and systems at various job sites across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality installation services of recreational equipment and systems, working individually or as part of a team.
  • Adhere to established company, manufacturer, and trade practices, guidelines, policies, conventions, and customs.
  • Maintain the highest standards of personal conduct and safety rules at all times.
  • Execute all work strictly in accordance with project and installation plans and specifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Field Superintendent.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving history.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • AA/AS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar field (desired).
  • BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar field (desired).
  • 6 to 18 months of field construction experience.
  • OSHA 10 certification (desirable).
  • Basic understanding of standard construction and trade practices.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction plans and/or drawings.
  • Basic knowledge of office productivity software.

Physical/Environmental Requirements

This position requires the ability to meet the physical demands of field construction work, including lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs. (individual limit) and 100 lbs. (team lifts). Work is primarily performed outdoors in various weather conditions.

Travel Needs
  • This position requires overnight and weekend travel to various work sites during the construction season (March - November).
  • Ideal candidates would live within commuting distance of Verona, WI or St. Paul, MN.
FSLA Exempt/Non-exempt Classification

This position is classified as Non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and subject to the requirement for payment for any hours worked above 40 in a week (overtime) at one and a half times the hourly rate in effect for this position.
