Job Opportunity

Hattie Larlham is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at our Dahlberg Gibson Learning Center in Columbus. As a member of our team, you will work directly with the classroom Intervention Specialist to implement and follow every student's Individualized Education Programs (IEP), assist in planning activities, and engage all toddler and preschool aged children in a fun and welcoming environment that is both safe and positive.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing activities for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Work directly with the classroom Intervention Specialist to implement and follow IEPs
  • Engage children in a fun and welcoming environment that promotes learning and development
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred or Childhood Development Associate degree (CDA) required
  • One (1) year of experience teaching young children preferred
