As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the restaurant manager in daily operational leadership, maintaining high levels of guest service, and ensuring compliance with Public Health Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Assist the restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations, including hiring, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, scheduling, and coaching staff.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and critique food and beverage service and offerings to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Administrative Tasks: Contribute to planning and administration tasks essential to the success of the operation, including forecasting, staffing, product comparison, and monthly inventorying.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food and beverage labor and food costs to maintain profitability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all alcohol, food, health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest feedback regarding food and service to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in hospitality or a related field, or 2 years of directly related experience.
  • Certifications: ServSafe Certification and certification as a manager in franchise outlets.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook, including computer-based cash handling experience and POS operational experience.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of government health, hotel, or food service regulations, operational financial management accountability, and budgeting experience.
  • Experience: Three years of progressive management experience in front and back of house multi-unit food and beverage operations.
