Key Responsibilities
  • Food Cost Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage food costs, including ordering, inventory management, and menu engineering.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing team of kitchen staff, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service, to ensure that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all food products meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions that meet our customers' changing tastes and preferences.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing of ingredients and supplies, to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all kitchen operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a senior kitchen management role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Certifications: Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certifications.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of kitchen staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
