Job Title: Cloud Network Engineer

Crescens is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud network infrastructure to support our business applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud network architecture and strategy to support business applications
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues related to networking and security
  • Build highly scalable and highly available solutions deployed on public clouds (such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), and/or hybrid environments
  • Assist in working with other DIT teams, which includes the network and security teams, for cloud on-boarding and migrations
  • Provide administration, maintenance, and support of the cloud infrastructure
  • Evaluate cloud networking infrastructure capacity and recommend solutions to address demand
  • Manage, monitor, troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues: utilization/throughput, slowness, and unexpected latency
Requirements:
  • Experience with firewall configuration and optimization, including Palo Alto VM Series and Firewall as a Service (AWS and Azure)
  • Experience with routers, routing protocols, and overall routing designs
  • Experience with VPN technologies to include IPsec and SSL technologies
  • Experience with name services and resolution, associated IP assignments
  • Experience in establishing and implementing governance model for the Cloud Migration and transformation efforts across programs
  • Experience in Migrating from Onprem to Cloud using cloud infrastructure on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, SSM and EBS
  • Experience with Cloud technologies & SaaS applications running on Cloud
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, and routing
  • Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc
  • Experience in capturing, interpreting, and analyzing network traffic
  • Experience with security best practices and implementing security controls in WS cloud environment
  • Familiarity with wired and wireless networking hardware and architectures, Virtual LAN (VLAN) setup and configuration, VPN, Routing, IPV4, IPV6
  • Experience in user account management for large organization
