Job Title: Master Principal Cloud Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Principal Cloud Architect to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our cloud architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our enterprise customers. Your expertise in cloud computing, architecture, and technology will enable you to provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to our customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions for enterprise customers
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to customers and internal teams
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable cloud solutions
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to gather detailed business and technical requirements
  • Design and architect comprehensive cloud solutions that meet customer needs and align with industry best practices
  • Present and demonstrate Oracle cloud solutions to customers, showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings
  • Create and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation
  • Work closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams to stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and Oracle cloud solution features
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers during the sales cycle, including proof of concepts (POCs) and pilot projects
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights to the sales team and customers

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of technology and industry experience and 5+ years selling technology and cloud-based services
  • 4+ years of working experience with modern Cloud Platforms - Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar customer-facing roles like pre-sales solution architect role, with a focus on enterprise cloud solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Versed in enterprise architecture and technology and ability to clearly articulate business architecture (vision, capability models, capability assessments) and technical architecture (current and future state capabilities, strategic roadmaps, solution best practices, reference architectures, design patterns)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle technologies like Oracle Database, Exadata, Oracle cloud platform services (Integration, security, analytics) and the enterprise applications like Oracle E-Business, Peoplesoft, JDE, and Non-Oracle applications like SAP and other ERPs
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., OCI Architect Professional Certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect)
