Job Title: Pharmacy Clerk

Job Summary:
Hy-Vee is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to provide exceptional customer service and support to our pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their medication needs, processing prescriptions, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service to customers in the pharmacy department
  • Process prescriptions, including counting and labeling medications, and preparing prescriptions for pickup or delivery
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including restocking shelves and cleaning equipment
  • Assist with ordering and receiving inventory, including logging invoices and tracking stock levels
  • Work with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless customer service and efficient operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Over six months up to one year of similar or related experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods

Working Conditions:
This position is exposed to noise on a daily basis and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The pharmacy team works together to ensure seamless customer service and efficient operations.
