We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team at Liberty ARC. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the management and oversight of Business Office activities as directed by the Controller.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for all entities following generally accepted accounting principles.
Budget Development and SupervisionAssist in the development and distribution of budgets and forecasts, and supervise assigned staff.
Internal Controls and AuditsRecommend internal controls to ensure proper financial management of all entities, and assist in preparation for all internal and external audits.
Financial Reporting and ComplianceMaintain and monitor financial work papers, reports, and ledgers according to established policies and procedures, and ensure timely filing of corporate and regulatory reports.
Requirements- Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience.
Skills and QualificationsExperience with OPWDD funding is preferred, as well as supervisory experience. The ability to read, write, and speak English fluently is also required.
