Job Title: Maintenance Refrigeration Technician 2nd Shift Liberty

Farmer Focus is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Liberty. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration systems, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on refrigeration systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of refrigeration equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration system malfunctions, using technical documentation and expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless operation of all plant systems.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of refrigeration system operation, including ammonia refrigeration equipment, high-pressure steam boilers, and HVAC systems.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in refrigeration technology preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in refrigeration maintenance, with a strong background in ammonia refrigeration equipment and high-pressure steam boilers.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Working Environment:

Work is conducted primarily in a manufacturing/production environment, with exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels. Hearing and eye protective equipment is required in the production area. Required to wear hair and beard nets in the production area.
