Senior Economist

As a Senior Economist, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team of applied economists providing analytic support for decision-making. Our work includes sponsorship from across government agencies, as well as a robust applied research program.

• Econometric and economic modeling and analysis
• Handling large datasets and making data-driven analysis
• Policy analysis and sponsor engagement
• Economic analysis in support of regulatory policy
• Pre- and post-implementation analysis, forecasting, and applied research

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with relevant experience
• Necessary skills include advanced econometrics, economic analysis, handling large data sets, and policy analysis
• Mathematical modeling and knowledge of economic data sets
• Strong attention and accountability to detail, as well as oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work across diverse teams and departments

• Experience in transportation, critical infrastructure, geoeconomics, supply chains, production analysis, international trade, international finance, and applied macroeconomic modeling
• Experience with computable general equilibrium modeling and working with government sponsors and agencies
