Your contributions are vital to our success. Every position plays a crucial role in enhancing our patients' experiences, and you have the chance to make a significant impact. We are seeking a committed PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dedicated team.
Responsibilities and Qualifications The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is tasked with executing all nuclear medicine procedures for both inpatients and outpatients as directed by the referring physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily schedule of patient examinations.
- Conduct nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols, including the administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Process patient studies using computer systems for review by cardiologists and/or radiologists.
- Uphold daily assignments, schedules, and quality control for imaging equipment.
- Maintain a patient database, including scheduling and retrieval of statistical data from NMIS systems.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at improving patient care.
- Ensure proper receipt and inventory of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Position and image patients using Gamma camera technology.
- Adhere to safety protocols in radiation management through monitoring and compliance with regulations.
- Participate in patient assessment and educational efforts for patients and their families.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB).
