Your role will encompass patient education, therapeutic counseling, and thorough physical evaluations, alongside potential involvement in educational programs for trainees and residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage regularly with patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Participate in outreach initiatives and educational activities beyond standard working hours.
- At least one year of experience in Critical Care or Acute Care settings.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
- Eligibility for Delegated Prescriptive Authority through the relevant nursing board.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of a current RN license or the ability to transfer your license.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area.
- Recognition as an Advanced Practitioner by the nursing regulatory body.
- ACNP or AGACNP Certification is required.
