Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Texas Tech University. The successful candidate will provide primary care as part of a healthcare team in an inpatient Neurology and Neuro ICS setting.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide patient education and counseling, as well as physical assessment
• Participate in teaching programs for students and other student residents
• Work under usual clinic conditions, requiring a high degree of contact with patients, families, and other clinic personnel and outside professionals

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Minimum of one year experience in Critical Care/Acute Care patient care
• Bilingual competence in English and Spanish
• Eligible for Delegated Prescriptive Authorization through the Texas Board of Nursing

**Required Qualifications**

• Graduated from an approved accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in the State of Texas or have the ability to transfer your license to Texas
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate nursing specialty from an approved certification program as recognized by the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners
• Recognition by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners as an Advance Practitioner
• ACNP or AGACNP Certification
