We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Archway Physician Recruitment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work closely with staff physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes.
About the RoleThis full-time position is located in San Rafael, CA, offering a unique opportunity to practice medicine in a dynamic and rewarding environment. You will be responsible for managing direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. This role also involves consulting with staff physicians as needed, furnishing pharmaceuticals and other medications, and referring patients to specialists when necessary.

- Consults with staff physicians as needed
- Furnishes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions, within their scope of practice
- Refers patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as required
- Supervises students engaged in specialty activities and procedures, as well as coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards
- Must have a current California license
- Must be BC certified
- Current registration issued by the DEA allowing the prescription of drugs
- Current BLS certification and national months clinical experience highly desired
- Proficiency in medical Spanish highly preferred but not required
- Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Records (EHR) a plus
- Prior experience working in Community Health Clinics environment preferred-Prior experience working with under-served patient population desired but not required
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care
- Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage
$145,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience
