In this position, you will:

  • Engage professionally and effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring accurate health record documentation.
  • Prepare daily schedules for team meetings.
  • Act as a liaison among clinical departments, patients, and external agencies to guarantee continuity of care.
  • Monitor and coordinate the completion of necessary forms.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, nurses, and patients regarding the status of form completion.
  • Organize documents for scanning and faxing purposes.
  • Utilize EPIC and MGB (Salem) systems for information access and input.
  • Collaborate with the LCHC Referral Navigator to maintain continuity of patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with strong organizational capabilities and proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office).
  • Graduation from a medical secretary program is preferred; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a professional demeanor and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • A solid understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed healthcare plans is essential for this role.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
