Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in Austin, TX.

Job Summary

This role offers primarily daytime shifts with occasional overnight coverage, working four 10-hour shifts weekly. As an Inpatient Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for preparing IV doses and other inpatient medications, order verification, and medication dispensing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing Medications: Preparing IV doses and other inpatient medications in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Order Verification and Dispensing: Verifying orders and dispensing medications to patients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  1. Education: A Bachelor's degree or PharmD in Pharmacy (required).
  2. Licensure and Certification: An active Texas Pharmacist (RPh) license and ACPE IV Certification (40 hours of accredited sterile preparation training) (required).
  3. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacist experience (preferred) and proficiency with EPIC EMR system (required).
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
