Key Responsibilities
  • Client Care: Provide direct client care through group and individual sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our clients.
  • Collaboration: Actively involve family members, outside providers, and other relevant parties in treatment, pending consent, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Documentation: Ensure progress notes are completed in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) on the same day as service delivery, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Service Coordination: Arrange for appropriate levels of services for clients, including psychological, medical, psychiatric, vocational, housing, legal, and case management needs.
  • Client Attendance: Monitor client attendance and ensure they attend all scheduled services, unless in detox status or clinically cleared.
  • Session Management: Ensure sessions start and end promptly, and provide clinical approval for client pass requests and visitor pass requests.
  • Crisis Management: Address and resolve behavioral issues with clients immediately, and provide crisis management and clinical emergency support as needed.
  • Discharge Planning: Ensure appropriate discharge planning is coordinated and documented, providing clients with a copy of their discharge plan and community resources.
  • Leadership and Support: Provide excellent clinical leadership and support to the team, maintaining a positive and therapeutic attitude and disposition.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Certification/License: Must have the required certification or state license to practice in the State of California.
  • Physical and Mental Ability: Must be physically and mentally able to assist in an emergency.
  • Documentation and Screening: Must have the ability to monitor appropriate documentation and have a TB screen, Health Screening, CPR/First Aid Certificate, or be able to achieve if offered employment.
