Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the bakery department's operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Lead and motivate a team of bakery department associates to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Ensure that all bakery department operations are in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless store operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and employee performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement plans to address any issues or concerns identified.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in a bakery or food service environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams, improving sales, and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with inventory management, scheduling, and customer service software.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in multiple languages a plus.
