About the Position:

The Bartender is responsible for providing prompt and efficient beverage service to hotel guests and servers, possessing comprehensive knowledge of all products offered at the bar.

Key Responsibilities:

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Crafting and serving a variety of wines, spirits, and cocktails from the menu while adhering to established recipes and Four Seasons Standards.
  • Building rapport with guests through exceptional service.
  • Confirming guest orders, including any special requests, using the hotel's point-of-sales system.
  • Verifying completed orders against the guest's original request.
  • Providing service and taking orders from guests seated at the bar, offering engaging and detailed descriptions of each item's origin, flavor profile, and preparation methods; maintaining a thorough knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty cocktails.
Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a high-end establishment, with a strong knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits.
  • The ability to obtain any necessary food handling or alcohol serving certifications as required by local or state regulations.
  • Preferred experience in a hotel or resort setting.
  • The capability to remain on their feet for the duration of the shift and communicate effectively with guests.
  • A proactive attitude and a flexible schedule, with availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • All applicants must have the appropriate legal documentation to work in the United States.
