Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in the Charleston, SC area. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, such as trackhoes and skid steers, to support our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment, such as trackhoes and skid steers, to perform various construction tasks
  • Assist in the installation of concrete pads and light poles
  • Participate in underground conduit installation
  • Read and understand blueprints to ensure accurate construction

Requirements

  • Experience operating heavy equipment, such as trackhoes and skid steers
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and work off of platforms/scaffolding
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, rain, cold, and wind
