Position Summary
As a Sales Executive at our company, you will be tasked with promoting Teaching Strategies' comprehensive range of products and services within the early childhood sector. Your role will involve identifying, directing, and coordinating sales initiatives with the backing of our internal teams. You will build on an established foundation of success in the industry while also expanding market presence through a collaborative and consultative approach with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain expertise in Teaching Strategies' offerings and the competitive landscape in early childhood development.
- Achieve set sales revenue targets for your designated territory.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of a strategic sales plan for your area.
- Proactively identify and address the needs of clients and prospects by fostering collaborative relationships and delivering tailored solutions.
- Engage in new license and renewal/upsell campaigns to discover new business opportunities in your territory.
- Qualify leads and collaborate with the field sales team to manage the complete sales cycle or handle the full sales process for specific clients.
- Strategically manage your opportunity pipeline with creativity and foresight.
- Continuously enhance product and industry knowledge.
- Utilize Salesforce to monitor pipeline data and maintain comprehensive records of sales activities.
- Maintain existing client relationships and effectively channel customer feedback.
- Regularly communicate with your Manager and sales team members.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all communications regarding potential sales opportunities and document all interactions.
- Schedule regular communications with clients in your territory regarding new offerings, renewals, and overall satisfaction.
- Travel strategically to meet clients within your assigned territory as required.
- Occasional travel may be necessary for team meetings and company events.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in Inside Sales with a proven track record; experience in education or technology sales is highly preferred.
- Experience in market analysis and managing a sales pipeline.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt your schedule to meet the needs of your assigned territory.
- Mastery of effective selling techniques, including listening, identifying needs, responding to inquiries, proposing solutions, and closing sales.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build relationships.
- Knowledge of educational systems and the ability to engage multiple decision-makers is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and presentation skills.
