Compensation:

$12.50 per hour

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the Undergraduate Instructional Assistant role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled in a Human Nutrition or Dietetics program.
  • Have attained junior year status.
  • Achieved an 'A' grade in DHN 212: Introductory Nutrition.
  • Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.3.
  • Be registered for or have completed DHN 312: Life Cycle and Community Nutrition I.
  • Demonstrate the ability to check emails and online course platforms daily and respond within 24 hours.
  • Possess professional experience in communication with peers or academic staff.
Job Responsibilities:

The role of the Undergraduate Instructional Assistant involves supporting the educational process under the supervision of the course instructor. Responsibilities may vary based on the assigned course, with an expected workload averaging around 5 hours per week.

Training:

Mandatory training sessions will be conducted for all selected candidates prior to the commencement of their duties.
