The incumbent assists faculty in developing and redesigning online courses, creating learning products, such as video tutorials, instructional media, learning simulations, exams, and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design online course content
  • Assist in transforming face-to-face courses to an online format
  • Analyze, update, and refine current online content
  • Train faculty and students on how to use learning technologies
  • Research innovative technologies and review current courses to determine the best ways to optimize the learning process

Requirements

  • Master's degree in instructional design, technology, educational design, or a related field
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Good critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems
  • Experience with design platforms, such as InDesign

Work Environment

The incumbent will work in a noisy area and may be required to exert up to 20 pounds of force.
