Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at The Caton Companies. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of contractor equipment and maintaining it on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, road graders, and front-end loaders to dig ditches and trenches, hoist material, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and report any defects or repairs to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all duties are performed in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four years' experience involving the use of medium and heavy equipment, with two years related to pipe operations.
  • Valid CDL License is preferred.
