St. Luke's University Health Network, the region's largest and most established health system, and major teaching hospital, is seeking a talented Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in the development of an EMS fellowship program. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with our Emergency Medicine Residents and medical students, while also providing prehospital physician services as part of our prehospital care team. In addition to serving as an Emergency Physician in a network Emergency Department, you will serve as a core faculty member in the network's newly accredited EMS Fellowship. You will enjoy a team-based care environment with well-educated, dedicated support staff, as well as opportunities for teaching, research, quality improvement, and strategic development. The ideal candidate will have a successful completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency accredited by the ACGME or AOA, as well as Board Certification in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. Additionally, the candidate should have or be eligible to obtain a valid medical license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey, and possess or have the ability to obtain certification as a Prehospital EMS Physician by the PA Bureau of EMS. Prior experience with GME, resident and/or medical student education, experience with Mass Casualty Events/Disaster Management, experience with physician field response, and experience and interest in research and quality improvement initiatives are desirable.
