Caregiver and Activity Coordinator

As a Geriatric Support Specialist at Eagle Care LLC, you will be responsible for making a positive impact in the lives of our residents by providing them with care and compassion. You will act as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates and encouraging residents to participate in daily activities that enhance their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
You will use your passion for serving others to motivate all residents to take an active part in their own health and wellness. This includes carrying out activities for residents based on their varied backgrounds, areas of concern, needs, and enjoyment. You will also recruit, organize, train, and recognize volunteers to expand and supplement the activity program, while including as many residents as possible.
In addition, you will involve resident families, the community, and volunteers in activities to increase the overall participation of residents as active contributors to their well-being.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with the geriatric population is preferred.
* CNA certification is preferred. Must be open to getting CNA certification within the first six (6) months of employment.
