We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Engine Valve. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Locate and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems, ensuring equipment is functioning optimally.
- Complete projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, installations, and material handling.
- Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Ensure job functions maintain or improve product quality, adhering to our quality management system.
- Perform preventative maintenance functions on equipment, completing work orders satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
- Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
- Experience working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.
- On-the-job or classroom training in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical.
- Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license.
- Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training.
- A competitive pay range of $25 - $30/hour.
- A $1,000 signing bonus and $500 referral opportunities.
