Pest Control Technician Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team as a Pest Control Technician. This is a full-time position located in a local area. The individual we are looking for is someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve customer pest concerns and issues on a daily route
  • Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order
  • Keep accurate records of treatments provided
  • Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws
  • Implement the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
  • Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
  • Advise customers of potential problems
  • Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
  • Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage

Requirements:
  • A US driver's license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
  • A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
  • A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
