Job Title: Floating Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Floating Maintenance Technician to join our team at Winfield Property Management, LLC.

Job Summary:

The Floating Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general repairs and preventative maintenance at our properties, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Repairs: Perform general plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility's equipment and systems.
  • Inspections: Inspect equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
  • Tenant Support: Handle service requests from tenants and ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with tenants.
  • Safety Repairs: Perform general safety repairs onsite to protect property and residents.
  • Residence Refurbishment: Work to refurbish residences prior to occupancy.
  • Emergency Response: Be on call for emergencies.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and Skills: Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair. Ability to provide and use hand tools and power tools.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and able to follow instructions.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, contractors, and team members.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to the overall success of Winfield Property Management, LLC.
Education and Experience:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Pool certification, EPA certification, HVAC certification, Fair Housing Training preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged Activity: Prolonged periods walking and standing.
  • Physical Ability: Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
  • Equipment Operation: Must be physically able to operate power equipment.
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 50-100 pounds at a time.
  • Weather Conditions: Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
