Job Summary

Crosby, the world leader in the heavy lift industry, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the uptime of our manufacturing equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines and other equipment, including inspection, repair, and replacement of parts.
  2. Read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to determine methods and sequence for repairing machinery and equipment.
  3. Conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment, utilizing PM programs and inspection checklists.
  4. Align, fit, repair, and assemble electrical and mechanical component parts using meters, gauges, power tools, and hand tools.
  5. Investigate equipment failures and malfunctions, communicating with engineering and production team members to resolve issues.
  6. Ensure proper installation of new equipment and document all testing of equipment and electronic systems.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
  • Maintenance experience in machining, welding, electronics, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Education and Physical Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Vocational school preferred. Daily exposure to shop conditions, which are variable depending on the task assigned, but are generally dirty. Is subject to shop noise. Involves extensive standing and walking. Skin and eyes are subject to drying and irritating fumes, vapors, and solutions controlled to OSHA standards.
