Job Overview

This full-time position offers a competitive salary, with an estimated annual compensation of $250,000-$300,000, depending on experience. As a Wound Care Physician, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wound care, with experience in treating acute, surgical, traumatic wounds, and chronic venous insufficiency. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive wound management, including preventative measures, treatment plans, and education to patients and their support systems.

You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to design and implement effective treatment plans, using a range of therapies, including bioengineered skin, debridement, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and total contact casting. Your expertise will also include assessing and treating draining wounds and fistulae, as well as implementing preventative actions to reduce the incidence of pressure ulcers and vascular ulcers.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will provide instruction on proper wound dressing and educate patients and their support systems on ulcer prevention and treatment, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and other relevant topics.

Requirements
  • Active Oregon medical license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with additional certification in Hyperbaric Medicine preferred
  • National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (WCC) Certification
