As a key member of our Machine Design department, you will be responsible for leading the design and release of mechanical projects, applying sound engineering principles, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom engineered equipment, applying expertise in machining, welding, and general fabrication.
  • Collaborate with shop assembly personnel to troubleshoot and debug equipment, ensuring timely and budget-friendly project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain engineering and drafting standards, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.
  • Participate in brainstorming and design reviews, contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
  • Supervise equipment installation, perform site inspections, and ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-10 years of experience designing custom industrial equipment, with a strong background in CAD 2D and 3D, Inventor, and GD&T.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, including international opportunities.
