Job Summary

Crawford Murphy & Tilly Inc is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our Surface Transportation Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing exhibits, construction plans, and models for Surface Transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed designs for transportation projects
  • Collaborate with Civil Engineers, Surveyors, and other technical staff to execute design plans
  • Provide technical support and assistance to the team
  • Utilize Open Roads Designer to advance design and planning projects
  • Perform on-site construction observation and documentation services
Requirements
  • Associate degree or certificate in Civil Engineering Technology, Computer Aided Drafting, or an equivalent civil engineering/construction-related field from an accredited college or an equivalent level of prior experience
  • Prior civil engineering experience with technical construction expertise preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and clients
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
